Sushi Cake

For a sushi obsessed guy! =)

This was a sugar free cake with sugar free frosting, for his diabetic friend. So since I couldn't really decorate directly on the cake, I did candy sushi on top of a "sushi plate".

Happy Holidays!

This was for Jason's Uncle's firm - they're holding a party for Northwest Center and needed a Christmas themed cake. My favorite is the gingerbread man!

Ocean cake

Karen (Ona) is a scuba diver and obsessed with anything underwater, so for her birthday cake, what could be more fitting? I made the shells out of melting chocolate and the rest with buttercream icing.

More cupcakes

6 of these were gluten free & eggless! It took a lot of experimenting and stress, but we (had to enlist the help of the husby) figured it out! The birthday boy can't have wheat or eggs. =) Jason and I tried one, and they actually don't taste that bad!

Cupcakes & Cake

Connor wanted a cake with MINT filling...YUM! Turned out super yummy. I used the extra on half of the cupcakes he was going to take to school.

Fall Sunflower Cake

Tiffany wanted the sunflower cake, but with brown, dark pink & brown sunflowers. Pretty! (Chocolate cake withe chocolate whipped cream filling & icing. Buttercream flowers.)

Mini Wedding Cake for Course 3

Finished up Wilton Course 3 with the mini wedding cake! My lilies weren't hard enough in time for class, so I put them on the next day. =) Also, this time around I made homemade marshmallow fondant and it tastes SOOO much better than store bought. Oh my! It'll just take some more practice - it's a little harder to work with. I like the ruffle border, so cute.

Then I didn't have enough lilies for the bottom tier...oh well. =)

Halloween Cupcakes

Taught the Young Women at church how to decorate Halloween cupcakes.

Something to crow about

Pam ordered this for her sister's 50th birthday. She wanted a rooster with the cake saying "You're 50! Something to crow about!"

I think the rosette border is super cute.

Race car cake

Ladybug Cake revamp

A friend ordered this for her friend's baby shower! It was fun to do it again and make it better than the first time. I used fondant for the polka dots and a fondant covered Ding Dong for the head. =)

Twilight Cake

Chocolate cake with whipped chocolate cream filling. I used buttercream icing, color flow for the arms and fondant for the apple.

A halloween themed birthday cake for Aiza's friend! I had fun with this. It's a vanilla cake with pumpkin ice cream, buttercream icing and fondant decorations. Yum!

Fondant present cake

This is my first fondant cake ever! From my Wilton course 3 class - I absolutely love it!
